MEETING INFO

 

Camera Club meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science on Colorado Blvd. two blocks north of Colfax Ave,. in the VIP Auditorium in the northeast corner of the building. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7 p.m. Enter the museum through the employee entrance east of the main doors on the north side of the building and go left to reach the VIP Auditorium.

Urban Wildlife Photo Club is a non-competitive club with no monthly 'winners' but a soft critique of images either by the monthly speaker or a full-time professional photographer.

 

CLUB WINNERS IN AUDUBON SHARE THE VIEW AND NATURE'S BEST CONTESTS

The club is pleased to announce and would like to congratulate Richard Seeley for being awarded a Highly Honorded for his photo in the most recent Nature's Best Photo Contest for his image titled 'Mirror Mirror' of a Mandarin duck.

Jan Facinelli received a Highly Commended for her photo 'Pelicans Chasing Cormorant' in the Audubon Share the View Contest while Jerry Raskin got one for a shot off the back of a boat in Alaska and Andy Long had three winners with 'Aurora and Milky Way,' 'Flying Angel' (northern lights) and 'Thief' (gull stealing shrimp from an egret).
